Jim Detert (PhD, Harvard) is the John L. Colley Professor of Business Administration at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and an affiliate professor at UVA’s Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. His award-winning research, teaching, and consulting interests involve employee voice and other forms of workplace courage, psychological safety, experiential leadership development, and ethical decision-making and behavior.
