Michael Forton has been Director of Advocacy for Legal Services Alabama since 2016. He previously led the Huntsville Office and handled housing, consumer, domestic, and appellate cases in state and federal court, including the U.S. Supreme Court. A former staff attorney with Florida Rural Legal Services, he earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama and graduated with honors from Michigan State.
